The project was divided into several lots in order to use more teams to minimize the risk of reducing productivity and access to a limited number of subcontractors given the size of the project.
The project involved the construction of large mechanical rooms. The electricity component was the parking lot lighting which has been issued separately at the beginning of the project.
Main challenges
Challenge of coordinating teams found great success with a detailed project planning and rigorous monitoring on site.
Challenge to provide adequate ventilation for the tunnel Ville-Marie, that found itself covered in greater length with the new Congress Centre.
